Abstract

After a brief philosophical and political introduction on the electoral issue, this article develops as a chronicle of the life of the Electoral Qualifying Tribunal, from its creation under the 1925 Constitution, through its installation and operation before and after the 1980 Constitution, up to the present day. With a descriptive rather than a normative approach, the intention is fundamentally to share it with the general public, without neglecting the historical and legal accuracy that is compatible with this genre.
