With the publication of the first issue of the Journal of Judicial Studies, the Institute for Judicial Studies has brought to fruition a project aimed at creating a forum for debate on the justice system. This initiative responds to the need to foster a broad, informed, and diverse discussion on the judicial function and the processes of change that have been unfolding in the country. To this end, an Editorial Committee composed of judges and academics has been formed, conceived as a body responsible for guiding the journal’s editorial direction and fostering the exchange of diverse perspectives.
The journal is structured into sections dedicated to studies on the justice system, jurisprudential analysis, discussion of current issues, and book reviews, with the aim of addressing matters related to judicial organization, management, training, and the use of technology. More than a medium for disseminating ideas, this publication is conceived as a space for the critical discussion of existing positions, thereby contributing to reflection on the development and modernization of the judiciary.
